Fifteen years as a creative director and art director, another five as an illustrator and designer. That experience taught me how to take a story and turn it into work an audience remembers. Most of my career has been in entertainment branding, and the rules turn out to be the same as any brand-building work I've done: make something with a real point of view.
To be honest, my approach to most creative problems always starts the same way and hasn't changed since I was a kid. I sketch. That's where it started, and everything since has been a version of the same thing: making room to think, making time to learn, making the work, making connections with my team. It's the part I've never wanted to leave behind.
Since 2021 I've run MELT, a design studio in New York. Before that, ten years at Showtime as a Creative Director. My work has been for Wired, Smithsonian, Nike, Pepsi, and later A24, MGM+, Showtime, Paramount+, HBO, FX, and Netflix.
Currently open to senior in-house creative roles.
